i always tought it was better cuz of the +2 dist

This is in the zaon tunnels if im right.
He uses the magic plate armor because he is blocking the monsters.
If you can run from the monsters using arrows/bolts its better to use paladin armor because you don't block
But since he is training his skills he prefer the armor.

But still the best way to train is:
let a low lvl mage summon rat, and atk you.
you will not lose stamina so you can skill and hunt afterwards.

The strength of the monster does not really matter. You atk the person he can heal and train his ml (personal monk )

I'm from non-pvp.
There is only 1 better way to skill, avaiable at higher lvls.
It's to skill on vampire which cannot reach you.
Character age - 11 days. Skills: 80/69
Without voucher.
