Paladin's Journey - bolts or arrows?

Post by Hardstyle Lazer »

So here is a problem.

Let me show you a situation.
You're Paladin, with level 200, skills are 110 (with equipment).
You want to hunt solo some monsters.

What would you take.

Bow (mycological/warsinger) or Crossbow (Thorn Spitter/Royal)
with crystalline arrows or prismatic bolts, and why?

And another one...
____
Same, but on 250 lvl with 130 skill, and umbral master bow/xbow.
Only way to success, is to set the goal, and train.

its more or less what u like and nothing else,
bolts are said to hit harder but have like 80% hit change
a bow hits a little less but is said to hit like 90%

Bolts, have more Attack, use with Thorn Splitter or Royal Crossbow.
Made in Costa Rica.

What about landing damage?

Bows got higher chance to hit, it doesn't disturb you?

Hey Minetorex ;)
Nice to see, that your first post landed here.
If you are premium player Dragon Lords isn't much profitable place for you. This monster is exp related. (which means high chance to waste)
If you still want to hunt them, use the best weapon possible, so take prism bolts.

Using spells as pally is based on your playstyle. I know paladins, who doesn't use offensive spells while hunting, and many more who use.
Imho using spells each turn is a good idea to deal more single target damage, which is one of pros playing pally.

Good question is, why don't u buy better crossbow, than ornate one (Crystal Crossbow), it's cheap (I think so).

2- im not useing better xbow beacuse its my 3rd character jues to get money for ED and MS.
3- u didnt said about earn money enything where i will get profit, should i use prismatic or drill and spells i know u will do more dmg i asked if u use them u will be able to get money back or its waste of money just help u to get exp.

u have prolly a waste if u keep hunting dl's, depens on if u get rares or not, and the bolts, well,it depends in how many hits u kill it
(5 bolts needed of 5g of 2 bolts needed of 10g 5 gp difference, not much, but if u hunt alot u should calculate what u spare ;) )
