Tibians! Three new game worlds are about to be launched!

Next week, on Wednesday, February 18, we plan to set up a new Optional PvP (EU), Open PvP (NA) and Retro Open PvP (SA) game world:
Kanda (EU), Opulera (NA), Ignibra (SA)
These worlds will be protected by BattlEye and will be blocked for character world transfers for a significant amount of time. Please note, though, that depending on how their populations evolve, it may still be possible that these worlds will be opened for transfers or even be merged with other worlds at some point of time.

Initially, only Premium accounts will be able to play on Kanda, Opulera and Ignibra.

Rapid Respawn Weekend 02-02-2026 / GuildStats bot

Do not forget to donate enough gold for your favourite hunting ground to take full advantage of the event!

Between the server saves of February 06 and February 09, all monsters will respawn five times faster. Areas with an active improved respawn area bonus yield an even faster respawn time. Save the date!

Changes, Balancing and Fixes 27-01-2026

With today's server save, new spells are unlocked automatically upon leveling up and no longer require any cost.

The changes at a glance:
  • Spells that previously had to be learnt from spell trainers are now unlocked automatically when levelling up, free of charge.
  • Spell trainers can no longer teach spells; related NPCs and map guides have been adjusted accordingly. NPCs remain available for interaction, but no longer teach spells.
  • Spells are unlocked at the same level as before and remain available in the Spellbook and the Magical Archive.
  • Newly unlocked spells are automatically added to the Action Bar if space is available. This behaviour can be disabled in the options.
  • For existing characters, all spells up to the current character level are unlocked automatically without being added to the Action Bar.
  • Each newly unlocked spell is announced via a banner message.
  • These changes apply to all characters, regardless of Free or Premium status.
  • Not affected are starting spells, spells from the Wheel of Destiny, and spells learned via quests, shrines, or specific NPC interactions.
This new feature streamlines spell progression, making it more intuitive for new players and ensuring a smoother, uninterrupted gameplay flow during hunts.

Furthermore, we have made some balancing adjustments to the Bonelord Bossfight, Order of the Stag and Deep Desert.

Bonelord Bossfight
  • Players can no longer be feared over wraithfire fields.
  • We have changed the super drunken spell to drunken.
  • We have decreased the duration of root and fear.
  • We have slightly reduced the damage from an eye.
Order of the Stag
  • We have reduced the damage from raubritter skirmisher/marksman/chastener by approximately 8%.
  • Bloodfire Gorge: reduced monster density and decreased monster respawn time.
  • We have reduced the monster density at Bastion and Adaean Mines.
Deep Desert
  • Undead elite gladiator: increased XP 5,090 → 5,700.
  • Skeleton elite warrior: increased XP 4,800 → 5,370.
In addition:
  • We fixed an issue where self-healing through virtue spells for monks did not work with skull.
  • Some creatures that were previously unavailable can now appear in the task and prey systems, such as stonerefiners and ravenous lava lurkers.

Since our last dev note on vocation adjustments, we have carefully reviewed your feedback and aligned it with our long-term design goals.
Today, we want to share an update on the previously announced changes and introduce additional adjustments currently under consideration.

Our goals remain:
  • Strengthen the identity of each vocation
  • Introduce meaningful gameplay innovation
  • Improve overall quality of life
Due to the scope of these changes, we have created separate threads for discussion and feedback: Until January 29, 10:00 CET you can share your opinions, ideas, suggestions and criticism about this topic with us in the comments.
The changes will, of course, undergo extensive testing on a test server. More information will follow at a later stage.

Fixes and Changes  18-01-2026

With today's server save, we have implemented the following fixes and changes:
  • We fixed an issue where the refined stag shield could not be forged.
  • Spell effects from radicular and decaying totem are now always shown, independently of spell opacity settings.
  • We fixed an issue that caused players to receive significantly reduced damage on a specific tile in Gnomprona.
  • We fixed an issue where the displayed required bounty points for upgrading the talisman were incorrect.
  • We fixed an issue where the behaviour of monsters regarding avoiding elemental fields had changed in specific situations.
  • We fixed an issue where not all kills by The Abomination were listed in the kill statistics.
  • We fixed an issue where the featherweight imbuement was not benefiting from the Wheel of Destiny increase.
  • We fixed an issue where the monster list was not updated correctly when assigning charms.
  • A number of smaller problems like map and NPC bugs, typos and minor graphical issues have been fixed.
