[GUIDE] How to use the Forge Simulator of GuildStats.eu

Post by caducbn »

This tool is designed to help you calculate how much it costs to upgrade your gear to the desired Tier in Exaltation Forge.

You can compare the cost of fusing with the same equipment up to the desired tier, or fusing with a cheaper gear up to the desired tier +1, then transfer to the main equipment.

If you still don't know how Exaltation Forge works, I invite you to read the article "The Exaltation Forge: The Complete Guide" first, where everything was explained in detail.

Let's go?

HOW TO CALCULATE THE EXPECTED COST OF FUSING AN EQUIPMENT UP TO THE DESIRED TIER
  • Classification: Choose the Classification of the equipment that will be used in Fusion.
  • Desired Tier: Choose the desired Tier.
  • Item Cost: Enter the price of the equipment that will be used in Fusion.
  • Sliver Cost: Enter the average price of Sliver.
  • Success Rate: Check the box "Improve to 65%" if you want to use Exalted Cores to increase the Fusion success chance.
  • Tier Loss: Check the box "Reduce to 50%" if you want to use Exalted Cores to reduce the chance of tier loss in case of a Fusion failure.
  • Press the button “Calculate”.

HOW TO CALCULATE THE COST OF FUSING A CHEAPER EQUIPMENT (DESIRED TIER +1) AND THEN TRANSFERRING TO THE MAIN EQUIPMENT
  • Classification: Choose the Classification of the equipment that will be used as raw material in Fusion.
  • Desired Tier: Choose the desired Tier +1.
  • Item Cost: Enter the price of the equipment that will be used as raw material in the Fusion.
  • Sliver Cost: Enter the average price of Sliver.
  • Success Rate: Check the box "Improve to 65%" if you want to use Exalted Cores to increase the Fusion hit chance.
  • Tier Loss: Check the box "Reduce to 50%" if you want to use Exalted Cores to reduce the chance of tier loss in case of a Fusion failure.
  • Select the check box "Transfer"
  • Main Item Cost: Enter the price of main equipment
  • Press the button “Calculate”.

HOW TO READ THE RESULTS

The tool will give 3 scenarios for analysis:
  • Average costs
  • The Lower and Upper bounds of most cases (according to standard deviation criteria)

In all scenarios, the total cost is the sum of:
  • Gold Tax: Total gold fees charged by the Forge on all fusions until reaching the desired tier.
  • Items: Total gold and amount of items needed for all fusions until reaching the desired tier.
  • Exalted Cores: Total cost and amount of Exalted Cores needed for all fusions until reaching the desired tier.
  • Dust: Total amount of Dust needed to make all fusions until reaching the desired tier. As this resource cannot be purchased, the cost in gold is not estimated.
  • Main Item Cost: Cost of main equipment targeted for tier transfer IF there is Transfer.
  • Transfer Cost: Gold fee charged by Forge on tier transfer IF there is Transfer.
  • Total Cost: Sum of all costs involved.

EXAMPLES:
EXAMPLE 1: How much does it cost on average to create a T3 Soulbleeder using only Fusion?

On my server the average cost of Soulbleeder is 360,000,000 gold and the cost of Sliver is 15,000 gold.

From what I read in the article The Forge of Exaltation: Is it worth it?, I know it's worth using Exalted Cores to increase the chance of success and to reduce the chance of losing tier on failure.

On average it will take 4,369,608,300 gold to make a T3 Soulbleeder if you only use Fusion.

This cost is the sum of:
  • 191,474,400 gold Fee charged for Fusions.
  • 4,159,080,000 gold referring to the purchase of 12 Soulbleeders.
  • 19,053,900 gold referring to the purchase of Slivers to make the 25 Exalted Cores.

But this is an average value. Depending on your luck, the cost will be lower or higher. It could be expected that in most of cases the cost would be within the range presented in the table of lower and upper limits.

EXAMPLE 2: We have another question: how much does it cost to create the same Soulbleeder T3 using a cheaper item up to T4, and then transferring the tier to bow?

On my server, the Falcon Mace item is the cheapest Classification 4 item at the moment, costing 3,000,000 gold. We will use several as inputs for the Fusions.

The price of Soulbleeder, our main item, and Sliver, we already know. Also, we already know that we will be using Exalted Cores.

The average cost to make a Soulbleeder T3 is 1,079,311,450 gold:
  • 530,424,200 gold Fee charged for Fusions.
  • 78,567,300 gold referring to the purchase of 26 Falcon Maces.
  • 45,319,950 gold referring to the purchase of Slivers to make the 60 Exalted Cores.
  • 360,000,000 gold to buy 1 Soulbleeder.
  • 65,000,000 gold transfer fee from Falcon Mace T4 Tier to Soulbleeder.
