Who havent heard about great war of orcs or about the mighty shadowthrown, about trolls plundering city called Thais or Ghouls violating carlin graveyard?
But have you ever heard about Pirate Pandas from the northern sea? You might ask yourself right now, Pirate Pandas? Thats right, you heard good. A pandas with black band over the eye, with sword on a belt and in big black pirate shoes! Legends says that Pirate Pandas were one of the first culture in Tibia lands, that they created an idea of shipping and that they liked rum! Their pirate guildhouse have a place on the island located left from Cormaya island, a place so secret that even Pemaret the local fisherman is scared to talk about. Beware adventurer! Only the chosen ones can enter to the Fortress, the ones who fight in the name of mighty Pirate Pandas.

Finished just in time... well, almost. I didn't build nearly as much as I wanted to - the time was little and I started late but here it is:

"Well, it's humble and simple just the way we like, a place to rest gather with our guild mates.
It lacks some furnishings... Errrm... let's just say we just moved in and could't bring all of our stuff like beds, weapons and books... :D"

heres my very personal dream guildhall ! the main concept lies in the layout ! its in the shape of Ems (which is my nick name :D )

the first letter "e"generate some kind of form for the port and it got alight house!

the "m" and its mirror form the base ground for the guild hall and 4 guard towers (each tower represents one tibian magical element)

the comes the "S" which is connected to the "M" with some kind of abridge abit of old which got no valuable use really :p we got amountain just on the back of the guildhall

got some flags on the top with my name,my hubbys, and our guild name

been working on this for 12 days now :) still didnt have enough time to get done rendering nice shots so i got few abit of low quality shots (lousy laptop) hope those work for u

now im trying to upload the pics :x my max uplaods is 3 :x can i post the rest of the pics in different post?

Halls of Stardust

Hallo everyone!

I like to present my Guildhouse project.

Halls of Stardust

Dimensions:
43cmx23cm (Basement)
26cm high
43x32x26cm

My idea was to create a Guildhouse completely transferable into Tibia.
Since I needed a pretty accurate squaremeter system, I decided to "draw"
a scatch by the help of a map editor ("Tiled") firstly.
Here is the "blueprint":

-------------
1st Floor:
Image

2nd Floor:
Image

3rd Floor:
Image

4th Floor:
Image

5th Floor:
Image
-------------

Afterwards I started to prepare the textures for the house. I collected
textures form Tibia by making screenshots. Many textures, like the doors,
the windows (inside/outside) tapestry, beds or wall torches... I needed to paint them
myself. After all textures were ready to use (after some days) I again took
the map editor program and put all the new textures in it and started to form
walls while watching and comparing with my "blueprint".

After making the texture papers, i converted them into png-format and put them
into GIMP. I changed the size of the texture paper into a near A4 format.
The result were papers like this:

-------------
Example 1:
Image

Example 2:
Image
-------------

There were over 30 printed A4 papers at then end.

Then I decided which material i would use for the basement and walls. A lot of cardboard.
The walls should be volumetric, which made the whole project a lot harder.
I took some cardboxes, like from a flat-screen, with a thik paperwall.

I started to cut the printed A4 papers and glued them on the cardboard, then cutted the
cardboard along the glued texture papers. Afterwards I glued the 2 matching sides of walls
together, the result was a thick and solid wall.

5:

-------------

This way i worked my way up the floors, it took me over one week hours of daily work
(printing, cutting paper, glueing paper on cardboard, cutting cardboard, glueing cardboad...) :D

After the main building was done i started to build all the details like chairs, tables, bookcases,
tapestry and other decoration.

This is the main result, i hope you like it!

Story of the Guildhouse:

Once upon a time there was a team of brave friends exploring the deep forest of Plains of Havoc.
In the middle of the night, when the moon was at its highest point the friends suddenly hear a
deep and earsplitting sound from all directions. They believed they have awaken Massacre from his
sleep accidently. The Paladin, famous for his eagle eyes saw a little but bright light at the horizon between
all the trees. The Lightpoint grew incredibly fast and rushed past the heads of the friends. It was a huge fireball!
It must be sent directly from Suon, the mighty god of fire, who lives in the sky!
Luckily the fireball didnt harm the community of adventurers. After a huge explosion somewhere deep in the forest, it got quite again.
As the heart of an adventurer is, the team was curious about this mighty fireball. So they followed the shiny
sparks on the sky, to find the impact location. After 2 hours walking the adventurers found a huge hole in the ground
and all around fire and broken trees! The druid yelled suddenly "exevo gran mas frigo!!!" and at once an icy wind
appeared, doused all the fire around the crater and cooled down the shiny centre of the crater.
They found a big shiny stone. They called it meteor, since they saw this huge stone flying through the air!
To remember this sign of the gods the team of friends and adventurers decided to build a house around this stone.
They called it "Halls of Stardust" and they all together lived and explored happily ever after.

the Rookie.pl Item Contest, both made by myself :)

Good Luck to All in this amazing competition!
