Those sudden drops in temperature are harbringers of the percht queen's awakening! Her frozen kingdom is a stronghold of neverending winter! Protected by perchts and schiachs, she rules the snowcovered island with an iron fist.
It is said that no known material can resist the perishing cold that origins from her chambers. Even the bravest adventurers, who tried to rush into her throne room so far, congealed on their way and were shattered into thousand pieces by her merciless servants.
As of server save on December 22, a boat, which ferries over to the frozen realm, will be at anchor near Svargrond's harbour. Once you have set foot on the island, you should talk to Frosty. The friendly snowman will tell you more about the icy place and its shaggy inhabitants.
The actual implementation of the Winterlight Solstice event varies in two points from the initially presented version of the teaser: There is no difference whether more perchts or schiachts were killed, which means that all new items can be found in the loot of the monsters and their queen during the entire event. Furthermore, there is only one type of schiacht and one type of percht. Their strength has been drastically reduced and is now comparable to hydras or deepling spellsingers in order to allow also lower level players to enjoy the event to its full extend.
Between the server saves of January 07 and January 10, Tibia's birthday will be celebrated. During this time you can visit Nostalgia Island again where you can hunt monsters with the old monster sprites, dig for treasures or knock down cans. The pinata dragons will also be spawning everywhere.
All game worlds that have successfully beaten the percht queen at least once at the end of the event (server save on January 10) will receive a whole week of increased respawn rates (x2) while mana & health points regenerate twice as fast.
