ear Tibians, it is that time again. At the end of the year, let us take some moments to reflect. What better way to do this than with a delightful recap of the year gone by?
The year began with enhancements to the tutorial, which should particularly benefit new players by helping them to learn the basic things about Tibia and was followed in March by the start of the balancing project. The balancing project consisted of seven parts and concluded at the end of May. It was based on a survey designed to refine hunting grounds, supported by player input and reinforced by our own data.
This year's April Fool's Day introduced two exciting events. The ultimate boss analysis delivered some humorous data about the outfits worn, when fighting bosses in Tibia; and for the first time in history, Tibia introduced officially three new game worlds for Oceania. It was almost historic and definitely not just an April Fool's joke!
Just a few days later, a new event called Exaltation Overload was introduced, which gave players improved bonus effects and hopefully even more hunting fun. Still in April, we were excited to announce that CipSoft would be participating at gamescom latam that took part from June 26 to 30, 2024, at the São Paulo Expo in São Paulo, Latin America this year. The two managing directors, Steve and Ben, who attended, were deeply impressed by the dedication of the Latin American Tibia fans.
Our last note from the eventful April concerns the Tibia Store Ensemble Contest. Players were asked to send us their visions for outfits, mounts and house decoration items. We received many great and creative suggestions. The three winners were announced in June.
Then, the summer update 2024 arrived, bringing some interesting features and content along with it. This included the Sweet Dreams questline, which sparked different reactions due to its unique visual style, and the Rise of Podzilla questline.
In early October, we enhanced the features and content available to free account players. Shortly after, we introduced the Tibia Token, a new trading option for Tibia Coins, expected to be released in January.
Not too long ago, we rolled out the winter update, which includes the new questline No Rest for the Wicked and an overhaul and expansion of the charm system.
That wraps up this year. While there were certainly more things that happened around Tibia in 2024, we wanted to highlight what we consider the most significant.
Therefore, we hope these events, changes and additions have left you with fond memories and that you are as eager as we are to see what the next year holds.
As we continue with our cherished tradition, it is now time to exchange Christmas tokens with NPC Ruprecht. He is introducing a delightful new item this year - the arbaziloth santa doll. Don’t miss your chance to win one in the festive holiday raffle. Just participate in the feedback form, starting on December 27: What has Santa given you?
We wish you all a joyful, serene, and reflective holiday season. May you step into the new year with health, happiness, and a keen sense of curiosity.

This is the first implementation of our Store Ensemble Contest. The proposal was submitted by Skogul The Giant and secured the first place in the voting.
Once bought, your character can use the outfit and the mount ingame anytime. The outfit is purely cosmetic and does not bestow any benefits. The item is directly delivered to you as a decoration kit, which can be unwrapped inside your house. Unwrapped decoration items are non-takeable and also indestructible.
