Dev Note: Exiva on Optional PvP Game Worlds 17-08-2017 / Thunder Madame
In the beginning of August, we conducted a survey concering power abuse on Optional PvP game worlds. Several thousand randomly selected players who have a character of a certain level on an Optional PvP game world had been invited to participate. The vast majority of these players confirmed that power abuse is indeed a problem there and that the spell exiva is contributing to the problem, at least to a certain extent. Many players opted for a change concerning this spell in the survey, either for a complete removal, or at least for restrictions to it.
So we have decided to work on a way to allow players to restrict exiva on Optional PvP game worlds and would like to present this to you in a dev note in the Auditorium.
There are no changes planned concerning exiva on any other game world types, please keep this in mind.
We would really appreciate your feedback and have prepared a set of questions for you. Please help us by posting your answers in the designated thread until August 24, 10:00 CEST.

As many of you know, the Tibia 11 client is the recommended client to play Tibia. While it is already impossible to play with the Flash client on game worlds that are actively shielded by BattlEye, we have now decided to stop the official support for the Flash client altogether and mark it as outdated. This means that there will be no specific bug fixes for the Flash client any longer and no new features will be developed for it. Similar to the Tibia 10 client various warnings and messages have been added to the Flash client to raise the awareness of its remaining users.
Tibia 11 Minimap Import:
We have added a new import feature, which enables users of the now outdated Flash client to import their minimap data to the Tibia 11 client. To import your minimap from the Flash client, please scroll down to the bottom of your account management page on the website and open the "Migration Tool". Click on "Export Minimap" and follow the instructions. After you have successfully saved your minimap data on your computer, start your Tibia 11 client and open the help options. Click on "Flash Map" to import your minimap data to your Tibia 11 client. Keep in mind that already existing minimap data will be erased if you import your minimap from the Flash client.
There are also new buttons to import your hotkeys and minimap files from the Tibia 10 client. Usually, the Tibia 11 client automatically imports all necessary data from the Tibia 10 client upon your first log in. If you encounter difficulties during this process, those buttons can be used to manually import the needed files. Please keep in mind that already existing hotkey settings or minimap data will be deleted during the import process.
Changes and Fixes:
We have fixed many minor NPC and map issues with today's server save. There have been general minor changes as well. For example:
Pharaoh Outfit is now properly positioned.
The "vampire signet ring" can now be equipped.
The imbuement slots on the items "rain coat" and "nevermourn" have been removed.
We fixed a display issue in the kill statistics of Zamulosh.
An issue, which listed monsters as summons of other players in the character death list is now fixed.
Small fixes concerning the "Forgotten Knowledge" and the "First Dragon" questline.
Last but not least, we have improved the visibility of the download link for our Tibia 11 client on the homepage and in your account management.
Have a nice time in Tibia! Your Community Managers
New Decoration Items and Mounts 11-08-2017 / elyluvzya
to bring some new decoration items to the Store! Inspired by the beauty of nature, the new verdant furniture have a modern pale green veneer. The elegant design presents an array of motifs from nature, making them a stylish addition to your home.
The high quality verdant carpet is so soft, it will be pure pleasure to take off your shoes after a long hunting trip. If you rather prefer to stand on a hard surface, you should check out the new wooden planks and stone tiles.
The bath tub is offering you a place to retreat where you can relax and have a rest from your daily troubles. Furthermore, we added a new terrarium to the Store, which accommodates a cute little spider. For those, who are passionate about weaponry, the Hrodmiran Weapons Rack with its two spears might be the better choice.
When bought, these items are directly delivered to you as decoration kits, which can be unwrapped inside your house. The unwrapped decoration items are non-takeable and also indestructible.
New mounts have found their way into Tibia as well. The Blazing Unicorn lives in a deep rivalry with its cousin the Arctic Unicorn. Even though they were born in completely different areas, they somehow share the same bloodline. The eternal battle between fire and ice continues. Who will win? Tangerine vs. crystal blue! The choice is yours!
Legends have it that a mare and a stallion once found the end of a rainbow and decided to stay there. Influenced by the mystical power of the rainbow, the mare gave birth to an exceptional foal: Not only the big, strong horn on its forehead but the unusual colouring of its hair makes the Prismatic Unicorn an unique mount in every respect.
Once bought, your character can use the mount ingame anytime, no matter if you are a free account or a premium account.
Enjoy the new decorations and mounts, Your Community Managers
Dev Note About Quick Looting 10-08-2017 / elyluvzya
after the summer update is before the winter update and we would like to give a first insight on what we are planning to implement with our next big update.
When we presented our new analytics features for this year's summer update, there were already many comments, which stated concerns and suggestions for improvement regarding our current looting system. We have taken the subject matter into consideration and worked out an initial draft to modernise the whole looting process and make it more enjoyable. Basically, Quick Looting will allow a customisable predefined inventory structure in order to sort the loot during your hunting session, and will lower the amount of time needed to drag and drop each and every item from a corpse to your inventory.
Since we are aware that such a feature needs to be carefully evaluated, we want to give you the opportunity to take a look at what we have in mind so far and to contribute your thoughts about it in the comment section.
You can find all the necessary information in the Auditorium. We kindly ask you to answer the set of questions at the end of the dev note until August 17, 10:00 CEST and therefore help us to evaluate our next steps.
We are looking forward to your thoughts and feedback, Your Community Managers
